Junior Events Manager

The main responsibilities of the role will include:
*Advising fee-earners and client and market development colleagues on event ideas
*Working alongside the Events Manager to help develop and implement best practice including supporting and compliance of anti-bribery, gifts and hospitality protocols and policies
*Creating, managing and delivering high impact events which fulfil strategic business objectives for specific clients or practice areas
*Leading cross-office/region teams on event delivery, managing all logistics for the event
*Managing a specific scheme within the firm, attending all committee meetings and membership reviews with individual suppliers
*Reporting on and advising on programme improvements to key internal stakeholders
*Working alongside the practice areas and the finance team and ensuring all corporate hospitality is managed through a single supplier
*Managing and developing the Event Coordinator and conducting appraisals and regular feedback sessions
As Junior Events Manager you should have relevant corporate events experience, ideally in the legal sector. Given the seniority of the role, you must be prepared to work outside of normal office hours, including but not limited to evenings and weekends, and be able to travel to and work in countries outside of the UK and co-operate with the team in order to ensure efficient service delivery.
This role will also ideally require that you have previous experience of operating at managerial level. If you are able to work calmly under pressure, have excellent attention to detail and are personable and enthusiastic then you may be suitable for this role.
