Junior Accountant

A global retail group are looking to add a new Junior Accountant to the team.
You will be tasked with the daily accounting function of the operating entity, ensuring accurate and timely completion of accounting activities and supporting the monthly packs for the UK entity.

As the Junior Accountant, your duties will include:
*Fully responsible for the basic accounting with the capability to grow
*Month end close: maintaining and preparing journal entries for fixed assets and entering journal entries if required.
*Preparing cost of sales analysis and IC understanding and preparation of reports
*Travel expenses
*Communicate with the external accounting collaborator)
*Helping further develop robust internal accounting controls and processes with an objective of building an efficient, value-add finance function giving support to the direct Line Manager
*Preparing the information and supporting the yearly auditory
*Full control of Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
*Communicate with our clients, building up a secure relationship with them and assuring the control of our cash in
*Ageing reporting (weekly basis) for both Clients and suppliers

To be successful in your application you will need a minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in possess of ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualifications
