We are pleased to be working with a Top 30 firm which is looking for an Investment Manager to join it's busy Corporate Finance team. The team has ambitious plans to grow, and the need for an Investment Manager to play an integral role in the delivery and development of lead advisory services for raising £1m - £5m has arisen. The focus of the team is to deliver greater return to shareholders by designing the best way to raise and use capital when investing for growth.

Unique in the field, the formidable team able to provide a holistic service to their clients, from the planning stage through to completion and onwards.

The focus of the role will be to manage growth capital projects (venture capital), and you should be confident with financial modelling, the full valuation cycle, reviewing and analysing research and market evidence, supporting lead advisors, due diligence project management and explaining investment documentation to clients, so excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

You should by now have a good knowledge of compliance standards and investor relations, and your financial modelling skills will be second to none. Ideally, you will already have experience and a genuine interest in the SME area, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a capital growth role. You will also have developed a strong investor network, specifically in relation to venture capital.

You will be academically strong, having gained a minimum of a 2.1 for your degree, which will likely have been a numerical based degree.
