Insolvency Manager

A newly created role has come onto to the market for an experienced Insolvency Manager to lead the firm's corporate team with a view to assisting the Partners with the day-to-day running of the Insolvency Department.

As the Manager, you will be responsible for formulating and agreeing strategies for the conduct of insolvency cases and then to implement these within the department. Managing cases in a compliant manner to closure, supervising at least three staff members, maintain high technical standards and report to the Partners on WIP, budgeting and general process improvements will all fall under your remit.

The cases are often corporate appointments of SME businesses including CVLs, MVLs, Administrations and compulsories although there will be some bankruptcy appointments in the team case portfolio as well.

JIEB is not essential although is preferred and good knowledge of IPS would be advantageous. Strong communication skills with proven experience of leading, managing and motivating a team together with strong organisational skills and a flexible, can do attitude.

Exposure to corporate appointments is a must and those with experience gained from a mid-tier practice.
