Insolvency Manager

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Insolvency Manager to join a well-established accountancy firm in Essex on a permanent basis.

The purpose of the role is to have a Manager who can take charge of the day to day running of the insolvency department by ensuring that all cases are efficiently managed through to closure in a compliant and timely fashion.

Duties will include planning case progression and formulating case strategy, maintaining strong relationships with clients, directors and other business contacts, supervising the team and developing the staff, allocating work, reviewing letters and case reports, advising the partners on any case issues and handling your own case portfolio through to closure.

Although NOT essential, JIEB is preferred or a qualified accountant with in depth experience and knowledge of all aspects of insolvency. Good communication skills and the proven ability to lead and motivate a team will be important.

Those who have worked in a mid-tier practice with detailed knowledge of the compliance aspects involved in cases, including the recent rule changes, will be strongly considered. The department work off the IPS system and so experience navigating work through IPS will be helpful.
