Insolvency Assistant Manager - British Virgin Islands

Should you be a qualified accountant or licensed insolvency practitioner and are interested in a move overseas then one of my clients in the British Virgin Islands is looking to hire an Insolvency & Restructuring Manager and/or Assistant Manager to work on high profile contentious insolvencies.

The firm are a global powerhouse in the Restructuring and Insolvency market and are one of the leading firms operating out in the offshore region.

The work is a mix of formal insolvency appointments with a cross-border and contentious element often involving complex assets and/or allegations of fraud with various business reviews, corporate advisory and contingency planning assignments.

Liquidation appointments in this region are often within the insurance and hedge fund sector whereby you will deal with the Grand Cayman Court and Cayman regulatory bodies.

Typical responsibilities will include the disposal of assets, dealing with compromise and settlement agreements, complying with statutory obligations, reporting to stakeholders, asset tracing and managing client relationships.

In addition to the technical workload, you will be encouraged to get actively involved in marketing activities and corporate community events. The recovery professionals working in Cayman is a close knit group that is well networked and so you will be expected to get your name and the firm's brand out there.

Living in the BVI is a fantastic experience for anyone that wants to work in a hot climate with good links to the US. This job opportunity will allow you to not just work out in the Caribbean but to also further enhance your career by allowing you to gain international experience on high end work.

Interviews are to place over the coming weeks and so please do send across your CV to this role if you are now ready for that change.
