Insolvency Assistant Manager

It is very rare to have an opportunity that can offer exposure to highly complex corproate insolvency cases, the chance to progress your career over a reletively short period of time and all in a working enviornment and climate that many would consider as the perfect holiday destination.

Thankfully, we have been able to partner with an offshore restructruing practice who are looking for assistance in recruiting an experience insolvency profressional for an Assistant Manager role in their British Virgin Islands' office.

The work conducted is often heavily contentious and investigative in nature meaning that you will require you to get heavily involved in conducting investigations into misappropriated assets, assisting with the sale of distressed assets, managing the cradle to grave statutory reporting, work on shareholder disputes and be the main point of contact for all third parties across each case in your portfolio.

Being a fairly small team, you will need to be very hands on with all aspects of the case as well as to get involved in marketing / business development activity with offshore lawyers, supervising the more junior team members and assisting the main BVI Partner with setting case budgets, case strategy and all future recruitment into the teamn.

To be considered for the role, you ideally need to hold a professional qualification (ACA / ACCA / CA / CPI / JIEB) and have experience working on sizeable corporate insolvency appointments. Any previous exposure to working on offshore cases or appointments that are more contentious and investigative in nature would be advantageous.
