Head of Pricing

A top international Law Firm is looking to recruit a Head of Pricing to join their London offices. This is a highly commercial role having a direct influence on the development of the firm's global pricing function and strategy.

As the Pricing Manager you will be responsible for leading the global pricing process for the firm. You will be the pricing expert and point of reference for international pricing support helping individual Partners and teams to develop pricing strategies for specific clients or more widely to align both client need and increased profitability for the firm.

Furthermore, you will be working with the commercial accountants, provide tactical advice, scenario analysis and analytical support to assist Partners on optimal pricing of matters including panel appointments, RfPs, pitches, large matters, general pricing and renegotiation.

You will be reviewing the performance of existing pricing agreements to identify opportunities for enhancing current and future performance. Providing project management expertise with the use of the firms matter management platform and conduct post completion reviews in relation to client and matter profitability. You will also be working with Partners to understand the commercial constraints and increase the partners' expertise in which financial and pricing levers to use in their respective sectors and practice area / groups.

To be successful in this Head of Pricing position you need to be an excellent communicator, both written and oral. You will need to be a team player who is driven, organised, has the ability to work under pressure with the natural ability to 'do a deal'. You will also need to have a high level of computer literacy and MS excel modelling skills.

You must have relevant pricing experience, ideally within a law firm.
