Finance Manager

A Top 20 US Law Firm with a history stretching back over 150 years is looking for a Finance Manager to join their City of London offices. The firms London office has recently hit record highs and is looking for a Finance Manager to help sustain this period of achievement. You would be entitled to a strong pension plan, 33 annual days off and private medical and health insurance. You would gain the privilege of working for one of the most renowned US law firms and help sustain a period of success within their London and European offices.

The Finance Manager would be responsible for:

  • The regional indirect tax affairs in partnership with the firm-wide tax team
  • Identifying financial risk
  • Managing European VAT submissions
  • Monitoring for any breaches of SAR and maintaining a breach register
  • Influencing key operational and strategic decisions including client profitability matters
  • Identifying productivity/utilisation issues
  • Influencing management teams to ensure that organisational and financial issues are readily resolved

As the Firms Finance Manager you would be required to have:

  • Relevant qualifications i.e. CA, ACA, CIMA or Equivalent
  • Prior International law firm experience
  • A commerciality in terms of insight and thinking
  • Excellent attention to detail
