E-billing Coordinator

A global law firm are looking for an E-Billing Coordinator to join their busy London office.

As the E-billing Coordinator you be checking and uploading bills in the firm's practice management system for clients who require electronic bills, generating electronic files and sending to clients via the e-billing hub or the appropriate ebilling platform, as well as maintaining timekeeper, matter, rates and invoice data held within various e-billing systems.

You will be the first point of contact for partners, lawyers, support staff, clients and e-billing vendors and will liaise with partners and lawyers to ensure compliance with the firm's systems in accordance with agreed protocols.

Furthermore, you will build strong relationships and liaise with clients to ensure smooth implementation of processes when introducing e-billing and maintaining those relationships for future client management. You will attend regular meetings with key client service teams to discuss on-going e-billing issues and discuss best practice.

This role with also involve monitoring the matter opening process for clients who require e-billing and ensure that all the correct information is added to the matter so invoices will not get rejected at billing stage. You will also provide ongoing training of new fee earners on client-required matter opening processes/compliance.

To be successful in this E-billing Coordinator position you must have good knowledge of legal billing, as well as in depth knowledge of various e-billing portals.

You must have experience of implementing new client e-billing set ups, including the mapping and loading of the rate card for e-billing purposes. You must have experience of manually uploading invoices directly to various ebilling portals.
