We have been instructed to commence a search for a Corporate Finance Partner / Director on behalf of one of the UK's fastest growing accountancy practices.

This is a London based role in which you will support with the continual growth of the national corporate finance division and wider practice. Growth targets have now been set and the corporate finance division has invested in adding key headcount in 2020 to help achieve these expansion plans.

The division has already hired one of the leading M&A deal makers in the south of England to support with the firm's coverage in the home counties and local markets, and so with this individual set to commence in April 2020, a search is now underway to recruit a Partner or Director for London.

The London offering is strong with a sector agnostic approach and an impressive deal portfolio that boasts an array of SME / mid-market deals £5m - £50m. The deals are mostly sell-side, but they also advise and lead on buy-side deals, fund raisers, MBOs and financial due diligence assignments.

A key part of the selection process on this role will be whether this person can both originate deals and execute transactions to completion. All the M&A Partners and Directors in the firm originate deals but get hands on with the client and advise on the transactions alongside the wider team.

For exceptional M&A lead advisors operating as Senior Managers / Associate Directors in mid-market deal making, this role will provide you with the platform to join at a hirer grade with the bandwidth to win business. You won't be set a financial target in year one but will need to demonstrate fantastic commercial flair and origination potential.

Those already operating as a Director or Partner, you will be expected to generate revenue in year one with set deliverables although the division is recruiting now to ensure a positive return in year two.
