Business Development Manager - Life sciences

Ambition have partnered with a global law firm who are seeking to bring an ambitious legal BD professional to step up to Business Development Manager level to look after their Life sciences area which they are putting huge short-mid term investment within.

We are keen to find someone who is ready to step into a management role for the first time but has the experience and confidence to take on the additional responsibility. You will be working with an experienced Senior Manager who is also aligned to this group.

Outline of duties/responsibilities;

• Lead on strategic international BD & Marketing campaigns working across a number of sub sectors
• Formulate and manage the BD budget, providing analysis on ROI & seeking to improve/enhance effectiveness.
• Work closely with partners and wider marketing/communications team on raising the firms profile within specific markets.

The opportunity will provide you with the chance to play a vital part in driving the strategy within the Life sciences team and will have various dotted lines to senior partners and the wider business development & client relationship teams.

In an ideal world you will have had prior exposure to the Life Sciences piece from within another Business Development role, however we would be open to other applications aslong as you have professional services experience.
