Business Development Manager - Europe

We have partnered with a US law firm who are looking for someone to be the senior BD individual based in Europe. Situated within the London office you will be responsible for driving the European BD strategy across 4 offices. The role will also have the added responsibility of hiring a BD assistant/executive once you are insitu which should add a positive dynamic to the role in terms of creating your own team.

Whilst the London office is fairly small comparable to the US with around 50 fee earners in total you will have scope to implement the strategy as opposed to having to run everything through New York. Given this setup you will need to be able to work fairly autonomously and be adept at building strong partnership relations.

Prior experience of operating in an international law firm would be desired however this doesn't have to the a US headquartered operation, we would also find someone who has some exposure to line management/professional development of junior members of staff an advantage too.
