Business Development Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading accountancy and advisory firm to join as a BD & Marketing manager. This role is a varied mix of business development, marketing campaign implementation and client management working closely with the partners in Bristol in developing and growing the business in that region.

The main responsibilities of the role will include:

Understanding the local market and the whereabouts of specific opportunities, and directly leading initial contact with target organisations to secure new business meetings
Tracking and reporting on pipeline progress at monthly sales meetings
Providing bid support and working on the development of winning value propositions
Designing and delivering comprehensive, innovative and integrated local marketing campaigns
Being responsible for generating local media coverage using both national and local PR content
Ensure appropriate client feedback is gathered and acting on isolated and trend issues
Having a detailed understanding of key client accounts and working with local stakeholders to ensure proactive and defensive strategies are in place

To work as the BD and Marketing Manager you must have a strong understanding of professional services, have the ability to work with senior stakeholders and have the ability to initiate new client relationships.
