A top UK law firm is looking for a Business Development Executive to work alongside their Energy & Utilities, and Transport & Automotive sectors. This Bristol-based role involves supporting all internal and external BD activities for these sectors, bringing a wide variety of interesting work and responsibilities. The role's responsibilities include:

• Reporting to the Business Development Manager
• Project managing sector pitches - collating responses following best practice process, reporting outcomes/feedback, managing sector templates, and continuously improving processes
• Supporting the sectors in converting opportunities into wins and reporting outcomes to the wider sector teams
• Collaborating with the Events team to ensure that events are well targeted, delivered successfully and within budget
• Utilising training sessions, tailored content, and events to support the roll out of the firm's thought leadership materials
• Creating and internally publishing the sectors' key reports
• Working closely with relevant fee-earners, and the Brand and Digital teams, to produce sector specific content for use in external communications
• Implementing social media activity in conjunction with the Digital team
• Attending internal meetings, recording actions, circulating notes after meetings and ensuring tasks are progressed to completion

The ideal candidate would have:

• Experience in business development and marketing
• Excellent project management and multitasking abilities
• Ideally, a background working in professional services
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM databases
• An interest in the relevant sectors
