Business Development Analyst - New York

An established US law firm are looking to bring someone in to operate at BD Analyst level operating across their litigation practice area. The role will play a pivotal part in devising the firms got to market strategy and coordinating a variety of BD & Marketing projects.

The firm has a large presence within the litigation area within the US market, so an interest in specializing in this field would need to be demonstrated.

As a broad BD position, the role will encompass a variety of duties including;

• Client relationship management - working closely with the fee earners on cross-selling initiatives and providing analysis of the current market for new business opportunities.
• Project manage the bid process, managing it from beginning to end and providing strategic feedback on wins/losses and offering advice for continual improvement.
• Be involved in the organisation of wider marketing & comms work, this will include having input on firmwide events and contributing to thought leadership pieces.

This role would be a great opportunity for an ambitious Business Development professional with 3-5 years experience looking to make the next step towards gravitating into a management post. Previous experience operating at another law firm within Litigation or Disputes would be highly advantageous but not essential.
