Bid Operations Manager

Ambition are working with a leading audit and advisory firm who are growing their strategic bid & pursuits team to support the wider business and sectors!

The firm are a leading name both renowned for supporting major corporations and the SME market. The Strategic Bid & Pursuits team are looking to hire an experienced Bid Operations Manager to service and support the Bid Managers with day-to-day operations of the bids process and acting as the first point of contact for the team.

The role will be an initial 12 month fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing leads that come in from the specific sector regularly ensuring nothing is missed;
  • Ensure the correct infrastructure is in place to assist with the learning and perfomance particularly with competitive tenders;
  • Lead on key projects identified by the Head of Bids;
  • Acting as the first point of contact for bid support

This role of Bid Operations Manager would suit someone who would has experience working within Bids or even Project Management as this requires high levels of attention to detail and operational responsibility. The employers would consider those who would be keen to learn about the bid & pursuits process. Public sector experience or knowledge would be advantageous as the there is a significant amount of work won within this space.
