The Role: Assistant Financial Accountant
The Opportunity: you would be working in a team with qualified accountants and supporting them in a role that has room for development.
The Firm: Leading international law firm with fantastic facilities and offices in London.
Key responsibilities:
Preparation of partners accounts and consolidation thereof
Preparation of Statutory financial statements for LLP's, in compliance with UK GAAP and FRS 102
Computation of worldwide profit per point and individual partner profit shares.
Compilation of entity statutory accounts into group accounts
Liaison with External Auditors relation to partnership, statutory LLPs and company audits
Reviewing and reconciling LLP members and their status to information held at Companies House for each individual LLP.
Computation and analysis of accrued income under FRS102 - Section 23
Any other ad hoc duties as may be required
Skills needed:
Ideally part qualified accountant working towards fully qualified
An understanding of the relevant regulatory accounting and disclosure requirements for statutory accounts, as governed by company legislation and UK GAAP under FRS102.
Finance systems literate (Elite 3E preferred).
Capable of building credibility, developing relationships and communicating with law firm managers by written and oral means
