Job Title: Accounts Supervisor
Location: North London
Package: Up to £50,000

I have an exclusive role on with a mid sized, well established and organically expanding Accountancy firm in North London for an Accounts Supervisor. Due to a steady increase of work in recent times the firm in question are looking for a Supervisor to work closely with the senior management tea, supervise and develop junior whilst managing their own client portfolio which consists mainly of SME business based in the UK. This role would suit someone who is potentially working for a large firm based in central London that wants to shorten their commute but still handle high quality work or someone working in a regional firm that is looking for a step up client profile.

Requirements for this role include:

• Be the day-to-day point of contact and manage a client portfolio of businesses turning over between £5 - £10million across a variety of sectors
• Supervise and develop junior members within the wider team
• Be responsible for their clients: basic tax planning, bookkeeping queries, quarterly review of outsourced provider's work, VAT return review, review of year-end accounts, corporation, management accounts
• Planning and identify opportunities to generate more business from the client
• Fully brief and project manage the client administrator and outsourced
• Assist the Audit department on a ad-hoc basis (do not need experience in audit)

Requirements for this role include:

• ACCA/ACA (or equivalent) qualified
• At least 3 years experience working within an Accountancy Practice with some supervisory experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Has managed a client portfolio of similar size across a wide range of sectors
• Preferably based in North London within easy commutable distance
