The Opportunity

As a VAT Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, leading teams, and driving technical excellence. You'll be empowered to:

• Own and manage a portfolio of clients with significant responsibility
• Oversee team workflows and contribute to planning and delivery
• Achieve revenue and profitability targets
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Support the development of junior team members as part of a progressive people strategy

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of your VAT team
• Provide technical guidance and review work across all levels
• Deliver proactive and reactive VAT advice tailored to client needs
• Manage complex investigations and offer strategic support
• Collaborate with national VAT teams to maintain up-to-date technical expertise

What We're Looking For

• CTA, ACA, ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of UK VAT issues and international (ROW) matters
• Proven experience mentoring and developing junior staff
• Excellent communication and client management skills
