US Corporate Tax Senior

US Tax Senior - Corporate & Partnership Focus (visa sponsorship on offer for US CPA holders)

An international professional services client is seeking an experienced US Tax Senior to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a diverse portfolio of corporate groups, supporting both compliance and advisory matters while developing leadership capability in a collaborative, largely virtual environment.

Role Overview:

In this position, you will take a leading role in managing a portfolio of corporate group clients. Core responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing US Corporate and Partnership tax returns and associated calculations, applying relevant US tax concepts (with opportunities to prepare more complex filings).
  • Conducting tax research to provide well‑supported technical solutions and clear client deliverables.
  • Preparing engagement budgets and assisting in the delivery of advisory projects.
  • Liaising directly with clients, building relationships, and ensuring high‑quality communication.
  • Guiding and supporting junior team members, contributing to both their technical development and broader professional growth.
  • Staying up to date on US tax developments and relevant tax technology tools.
  • Participating in client‑facing initiatives to strengthen advisory skills and gain deeper business insight.

This is an excellent role for someone looking to broaden their exposure, develop their leadership abilities, and work with high‑calibre international clients.

Requirements:

  • US CPA, Enrolled Agent, or similar qualification preferred; those actively progressing toward qualification will also be considered.
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in US corporate and/or partnership tax compliance, ideally gained within a Big 4 or boutique environment serving international clients.
  • Strong organisational, communication and technical skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Prior experience with Private Equity Fund clients is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Excel and major US tax preparation software (CCH Axcess preferred).
  • Comfortable working as part of a primarily virtual team, with the ability to think independently while collaborating effectively.
