UK/US Tax Associate

Job Title: UK/US Tax Associate
Location: Central London
Package: Up to £35,000 + study support

I am currently working with an award winning, full service Accountancy Practice on a UK/US Tax Associate role. The role will fall under the firm's highly successful Private Client team, working closely with Senior Manager's on a portfolio HNWI's with links to the United States. This is a great opportunity for someone who is ATT/CTA part qualified Tax, preferably with experience handling UK/US work but general Private Client will also be considered, that is looking to take the next step in their career and looking for an opportunity to have increased client exposure.

Responsibilities for this role include:

• Prepares basic tax returns and works with Senior Associates within the team
• Work closely with Managers to learn to prepare more complex returns
• Gathering data for correspondence to clients and tax authorities
• Attending client meetings with senior members of the team

Requirements for this role include:

• 1-2 years US and UK (dual handler) individual tax experience; or US only individual tax experience; or US corporate tax experience with a Big 4 or boutique firm serving international clients
• Enrolled Agent or studying to be a US CPA or ATT
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills
• Organised and works well under pressure
