Transaction Services Assistant Manager

We are working closely with a top accountancy practice that is looking to build out their Corporate Finance team. The team has grown to 20 members, making it one of the fastest-growing teams. The transaction services team collaborates with corporate, private equity, and banking clients on acquisitions, investments, and financing.

This position is ideal for someone with TS experience who wants to accelerate their career while contributing to team growth. You'll work in lead advisory and valuations, focusing on transactions in the £5m to £100m range, with opportunities for learning and collaboration.

Role Overview:
You'll oversee buy-side advisory and financial due diligence services for diverse clients. Key responsibilities include report writing, communicating findings to clients, and mentoring and developing Executives in the Corporate Finance team as they assist with M&A transactions.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Support Partner, Directors, and Senior Managers in buy-side advisory services and financial due diligence report preparation.
• Execute assignments as agreed with the Manager/Partner, keeping them informed of progress.
• Brief, supervise, and review junior team members' work, providing constructive feedback.
• Prepare formal review forms.
• Report any potential time budget issues promptly to the Manager/Partner.

You are the right person for the role if you have:

• Degree educated (or equivalent)
• ACA qualified (or equivalent)
• Working knowledge of Transactions Services in an Accounting Firm or Corporate Finance Boutique
• Performed financial due diligence assignments
• Experience working with Excel models
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Networking and results orientated; ability to recognise cross-selling opportunities
