Transaction Analytics Assistant Director - Big 4

We are working closely with one of our big 4 clients who are keen to transform financial due diligence with data analytics and advanced technology. They assist clients in acquiring or divesting assets to achieve their strategic goals, working across various sectors and regions on complex assignments.

Their main focus is the fast-paced financial due diligence phase of M&A processes. By using data and analytics, they assess a target company's financial performance and business projections, identifying opportunities and risks that impact the asset's final value. The Transaction Analytics team works alongside core due diligence teams to provide deeper insights and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on multiple projects with experienced financial due diligence professionals.
• Develop skills in financial due diligence and technical training across various sectors.
• Collaborate with cross-service line teams and other divisions.
• Understand key business drivers, co-develop approaches, and agree on value measurements with clients.
• Provide insights, conclusions, and advice to clients.
• Project manage teams and build strong internal and external networks.
• Plan, prepare, and review deliverables, including reports and presentations.

What We Look For:

• Have an ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
• Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau)
• Experience in advanced analytics languages (Python, SQL, R)
• Proven experience in leading teams and thriving in a fast-paced transaction environment, with a strong grasp of how analytics can add value throughout the transaction life cycle.
