This is a fantastic opportunity for a Team Secretary or Administrator to join a team that will allow them to develop in their role. You will be given the opportunity to get involved with different existing projects the team are working on and hold full autonomy to run projects yourself.
The reason for this position is due to internal progression which is proof this firm believe in individuals' careers. The main purpose of this role will be supporting the team and acting as a PA to the Partner, this will be the type of role that you take on more and more as you develop there, so variety is a definite.
Duties required but not limited to for this Team Assistant role are:
To be the client contact for a well know hotel group, providing the following services:
Land registry searches
Summarising Pre-Development Reports
Checking tenures
Answering client queries
Regular and ad hoc reporting and data entry duties, including but not limited to:
Researching relevant comparables, data and statistics, using both internal and external sources.
Preparing information related to hotels' bed stock and other guest facilities
Searching for and summarising new hotel competition to identify possible impact on our clients' hotels
Pursuing rates refunds and issue of Notices from the Valuation Office Agency and Billing Authorities
Drafting of rates Checks and Challenges for the hotel rating team
Financial administration on behalf of the office
General administrative duties as required, including but not limited to:
Liaising directly with clients, including organising of inspections
Ensuring timely receipt, distribution and allocation of incoming post
Filing, photocopying, binding and organising;
Arranging meetings and supplementary catering and travel arrangements;
Being the first point of contact for calls and visitors
Ensuring bid documents, reports and all correspondence are dealt with and despatched in a timely and
appropriate fashion; and other duties commensurate with the position.
To be successful in your application for the Team Assistant you will need to hold:
Experience in a similar role where you have had a data entry / financial administration type role in professional services is essential
Ability to manage and develop key external contacts to maximise business opportunities
Capable of working collaboratively
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
You will receive an above market rate salary
