Tax Supervisor

The firm provides a wide range of services to businesses and individuals and has been well established trading for 20 years. The successful candidate will be working as part of a Tax team of 5 people. The firm prides itself on having a modern approach and the Tax team is seeking to recruit an individual who shares the same positive outlook with the ambition to grow and develop the team further.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with all day-to-day tax work, including dealing with Corporation Tax, Self-Assessment, VAT and payroll issues
• Providing compliance and advice services to a wide range of businesses and individuals
• Assisting the manager and directors in the tax team to provide consultancy to tax clients on a variety of matters and issues
• Meeting with clients alongside other members of the team and maintaining the high-quality service that the firm provides to it's clients
• Liaising with clients to ensure their compliance and advisory requirements are met
• Communicating with HMRC to ensure client affairs are maintained and up to date as well as responsibility for your own portfolio of clients to ensure the successful and timely delivery of their tax requirements

Requirements:

• 2.2 or above degree in any discipline
• Three A Levels, with grade BBB or higher (or equivalent), excluding General Studies
• Minimum grade B or higher in GCSE Mathematics and English Language (or equivalent)
• ATT qualified by time and paper qualified
• CTA - commenced CTA studies
• Ideally 2-3 years' experience in a tax role
• Excellent spoken and written English skills
• Keen eye for detail
• A professional, enthusiastic and responsible approach are required, as well as being able to demonstrate the ability to work independently
