Senior PR Executive (FTC)

A Leading global law firm is looking for a Senior/Public Relations Executive to join their dynamic and friendly team. Get the chance to work on ground-breaking campaigns in a well-established and talented M&BD team. In this role you will be responsible for the PR in the UK for the firms leading practices and also working with the firms leading partners on global PR campaigns.

Roles and Responsibilities

• You will develop and implement the PR strategy for the firms leading areas including regulatory. You will also closely with internal management and external PR agency to develop Africa and Middle East PR strategies.

• Build lasting relationships with national and trade press and execute a media contacts programme for individual partners, practices, and sectors in order to aid spokespeople in their preparation for interviews.

• Actively identify potential news, topics or comment opportunities; you will be responsible for driving the quantity and quality of media coverage for UK teams.

• Draft and manage media briefing notes and press releases. Commission and where appropriate ghost write/ edit articles.

• You will review submissions for legal award entries and contribute to half yearly PR team senior management reporting and ongoing media tracking.

• Be an ambassador of the firm and of the communications team through attending media receptions/ awards etc.

• Help to organise the annual London office press party.

Ideally you will have experience of several years in PR or Journalism and contacts within the UK national and business media and experience of targeting national press. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic PR and communications team and work with leading international clients.
