I have an exciting opportunity for a Senior PR & Communications Executive to join a market leading advisory firm who are well established and award winning.

This Senior PR & Communications Executive role would be a great opportunity for a PR agency professional who is keen to make the move to an in-house role. The role will be busy and varied and there is lots of opportunity for autonomy and influencing.

The Senior PR & Communications Executive role will include:

  • Working with partners and key stakeholders to identify opportunities to profile the firm through thought leadership content across key press targets
  • Drafting press releases, articles, blogs, internal comms and other copy
  • Pitching content and stories to national, trade, online and broadcast media and issuing press releases
  • First point of contact for all incoming press enquiries - liaising with partners and drafting press comment/coordinating interviews
  • Managing, measuring and feeding back on media and comms campaigns
  • Responsible for client newsletters
  • Sharing market knowledge and insights with teams across the firm
  • Providing reports for the leadership team
  • Providing media training as required



The Senior PR & Communications Executive will need to have considerable experience in pitching stories to national press and a good track record in delivering targeted coverage. You'll also have good experience of establishing relationships with journalists and the ability to manage campaigns that get results. This experience could have been gained in-house or agency, and exposure to professional services environments or clients would be a huge benefit.

It goes without saying that to be successful in this Senior PR & Comms Executive role you'll need to be a 'can-do' person, a great networker and be able to build relationships and trust quickly.

Your copywriting and editing skills will be first class, along with a good eye for detail, the ability to see the big picture and be results orientated.

The ideal candidate for this Senior PR & Communications Executive role will have:

  • Strong PR agency experience
  • Experience of working with international partners (within a firm or network)
  • Good reporting skills
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • A deep understanding of the relationship between communications, media relations, marketing, business development and sales and experience of working with people in these functions to deliver results.
