Senior Pitch and Pursuits Manager

We have an exciting role for an experienced Bids professional to join a global team as the senior figure within the US team. You will be working across the firms large scale tenders and working in an innovative manner with key stakeholders on the proposals process. The role will also have support of a team and you will have current Bid Managers reporting into you.

The firm have a great culture and platform for further career developments, as many of firms senior leadership have been promoted through the ranks. We also think that role has added appeal as it is working on a global basis as opposed to just focusing on the US market. You will also work closely with the European team based in London and Germany.

Core duties:

• Collaborate and working tandem with the sector and practice BD teams in order to create and develop market leading proposal responses to the high value clients across a variety of different industries.
• Working with counterparts in the global bids team and the firm's senior partnership to put together coherent responses to the firms strategic panel pitches.
• Ensure that you are aware of key market trends in the firm's core markets, organising research to provide additional insight and context to aid and improve the quality of the bids process.
• Be involved in the evaluation of new business opportunities, advising the partnership on how to approach these conversations and work with the BD team to facilitate this.

The role is very much a strategic position in the firm and not a heavy pitch churn role that some of these positions can be, we are therefore looking to engage individuals who have the bids experience but also are excited by leading and a team, plus working in a more key advisory position within the firm.

Previous Law firm experience would be advantageous however we would welcome engagement from bids professionals operating across professional services. It is also worthwhile adding that the firm does operate a flexible working policy, so whilst the role is position in DC we are quite open to individuals working out of other East Coast locations.
