Senior Partnership Tax Manager

NEW Partnership Tax Manager/ Senior Manager role available at leading law firm

My client are open to the level in which they hire this role at and will be dependant on experience but due to some upcoming changes in the firm, whilst this is a replacement for a current Manager within the team, they are forward planning and equally can look at someone more experienced to join them and therefore can consider someone at Senior Manager.

This is predominantly Tax Compliance focused for the UK but there will also be international coordination needed as they do have offices all over the world.

You will be joining a team of 5 within the Tax team, with a wider team of partnership accountants.

Specific duties include:

· Prepare UK partnership computations for several group entities.

· Facilitate non-UK entity and partner tax filings by providing relevant information and analysis to external tax advisers.

· Assist with UK partners' tax compliance, including preparation and review of personal tax returns.

· Prepare the annual Management Charge allocation between global offices.

· Prepare the annual partner Profit Share Allocation schedule.

· Support the business in managing withholding tax issues.

· Respond to ad hoc queries across various taxes.

· Optional involvement in partners' tax reserving, with scope to lead this function if desired.

Experience needed:

• Partnership Tax experience essential from either a law firm or wider accountancy firm background with an LLP client portfolio.
• Qualified in either ACCA/ACA or CTA
• Skilled in Excel.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality.
• Proven ability as a self-starter - proactive, takes ownership, sees tasks through to completion.
• Team player - practical, enthusiastic and flexible.
