Senior Client and Business Development Manager

A global leading law firm are looking to recruit the a Senior Client and Business Development Manager on a 12 month FTC reporting into the Head of BD. The role is responsible for leading on business development and client engagement across varied practice areas within EMEA. You will be taking ownership of developing a clear understanding of the firms clients as well as their strategies, challenges and business opportunities.

As the successful Manager you will be involved in a wide range of responsibilities, such as:

  • Working with the leadership team in order to develop the BD strategy in order to maximise revenue growth opportunities
  • Supporting the engagement with the client network though identifying and following up on opportunities for growth revenue
  • Engage with the Client Listening programme though conducting and capturing client feedback through client listening, matter and pitch debriefs
  • Manage and support the whole pitch process which includes identifying opportunities, managing the tracking process, and coordinating partners through pipelines
  • Develop and manage the BD budget

The ideal background of the candidate would be:

  • Experience at Manager level within professional services (ideally legal, accountancy or consultancy)
  • Experience of successfully tracked growth record and developing stronger client and market relationships
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to influence
