Senior Client & BDM (FTC)



A leading international firm are seeking an experienced Senior BDM on a 12 month maternity cover for their Real Estate sector. You will be working within an award winning business development team where you will be providing BD support, insight and advice to fee earners while implementing the strategy for the practice group.

The successful candidate will be involved in:

  • Managing the BD activity with clients and targets for the UK Real Estate sector
  • Advise on BD investment decisions and the teams budget
  • Manage resources effectively to make sure that BD initiatives are supported effectively
  • Working with the International Head of and local country heads internationally to discuss and develop client/market initiatives
  • Assist partners on identifying new business leads/new opportunities through their industry memberships, market research and analysis
  • Work on client listening programmes e.g post pitch and matter reviews
  • Advise on pricing strategies, help determine competitive and profitable fee arrangements
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to develop thought leadership campaigns and lead on the execution of profile and revenue growth



The ideal background of the Senior BDM would be:

  • Experience within professional services e.g legal at either BDM or SBDM level
  • Excellent analytical skills as well as attention to detail
  • Professional manner, personable and approachable
