Senior Business Development Manager - TMT

Job description

We are delighted to be working on a new role at senior management level covering the global technology sector for a leading Legal brand. The role will lead on the international sector and take responsibility for the EMEA region. You will be responsible for the marketing & business development strategy alongside taking on key client relationship work with a select group of high value clients to the firm.

The role will encompass the following core duties;

  • Key account management some cross jurisdiction high value technology clients, establishing a trusted advisor relationship with the firms key EMEA partners. You will also have an overview of industry news and trends to ensure the firm reacts to market changes and the firm is positioned in the right manner.
  • Be responsible for managing the marketing budget for the Technology sector, working with the wider marketing & communication teams to put together thought provoking and engaging themes with content relevant for the sector.
  • Ensure that there is a joined up EMEA approach to the technology sector whilst also being aware of regional differences in the 'go to market' strategy. You will need to be adaptable at the type of projects campaigns aimed at specific markets.
  • Whilst this won't have extensive line management, you will have the support of junior resources and being seen as a role model to aspiring BD professionals who are less experienced in their BD career path.

We would like to engage experienced BD professionals from within the Legal sector & wider professional services who have experience operating at BDM or Senior BDM level, a keen interest in the Technology and Media sector will need to be demonstrated however we don't need you to have sat within the sector previously.
