Senior Business Development Manager - M&A (Paris)

We are delighted to be partnering with one of our leading global law firm clients with their search for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join their Global M&A Practice.



This pivotal role will be based in the firms Paris office and involves managing BD teams across London, Benelux, and Paris, while also driving cross-practice regional business development activities in Paris.



This is a full-time position where the firm operate a hybrid working policy of 2-3 days per week from the office.



Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of focused marketing and business strategies to strengthen client relationships and enhance the firm's global reputation.
• Use strong influencing skills to represent and engage stakeholders in the strategy, managing activities across internal and external groups.
• Demonstrate leadership and people management skills to inspire and develop a high-performing team, with a focus on mentoring for personal growth.
• Drive bid strategy, create compelling proposals, and advise partners on fast-turnaround opportunities.
• Oversee creation of targeted content, campaigns, events, and directory submissions.
• Leverage commercial insight and business development tools to track trends, identify opportunities, and measure initiative success.
• Build trusted relationships with partners and colleagues across the firm.

Experience Required

• Extensive experience in business development within the legal or other professional services firms.
• A proven record in leading a team and excellent collaboration skills.
• Ability to build high-impact, trusted relationships internally and externally.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Excellent written, presentation and oral communications skills.
