Senior Business Development Manager - Germany

We are working on a newly created position at senior management level to bring an individual in to play a pivotal role in their European BD team. Whilst the role will be the lead BD professional for the German market you will also work closely with the firms other European and International offices on a variety of joined up campaigns and projects. This role will allow for you to work closely with the senior global leadership team to drive BD and client strategy across a number of sector areas.

We feel this role is ideally suited for someone who has significant Legal BD experience who feels at ease doing the strategy side of the role but is also able to be hands on. Alongside having the required Legal BD background we are also looking for this individual to be fluent in both German & English and would welcome interest from the German market plus individuals who may be looking to relocate.

A selection of the responsibilities are listed below;

• Implementing and delivering a client relationship programme across the firm, you will be the key account holder for the firm with a number of global clients & German headquartered firms.
• Develop and manage national and international marketing campaigns to raise the firm's profile and brand across the practice area.
• Coordinate and contribute to international pitch and proposal documents as and when required.
• You will also be required to work on firmwide strategy and budgeting and lead a team of junior BD staff.

*We are also open to basing this role outside of Frankfurt if you are looking to be located elsewhere in Germany.
