A brilliant opportunity for an experienced BD professional to step into a high-profile role within a top-tier Private Equity Buyouts practice at a leading global law firm.

This is a strategic, partner-facing position where you'll work closely with senior stakeholders to shape growth, build market presence and drive client development across one of the firm's most important corporate areas.

The role
* Own and deliver the UK Private Equity Buyouts BD strategy, aligned with wider firm and global priorities
* Act as a trusted adviser to partners, supporting client development and market positioning
* Identify market trends and translate insight into meaningful BD activity
* Lead PE-focused campaigns, initiatives and profile-raising activity across the firm
* Work closely with global BD colleagues to ensure a joined-up, international approach

What you'll be doing
* Developing and executing BD and marketing plans with clear commercial impact
* Driving business development initiatives within the PE Buyouts space
* Overseeing events, sponsorships and thought leadership to raise partner and practice profile
* Using data, research and insight to inform strategy and measure effectiveness

About you
* Strong BD experience within a law firm or professional services environment
* Solid understanding of Private Equity / Corporate legal work
* Confident working directly with senior partners and stakeholders
* Highly organised, commercially minded and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong communication skills
