Senior Business Development & Marketing Manager - Corporate

Ambition is thrilled to be working with a top 20 law firm on their search for a new Senior Business Development Manager who will be responsible for leading their Corporate & Commercial International Practice Group. This broad group works across a variety of sub-groups including corporate (M&A and Private Equity), Digital Business and Energy, Natural Resources & Infrastructure.

The role requires the development and execution of strategic marketing plans that capitalise on the groups unique strengths and propel the business plan forward. You will also have the opportunity to account manage one of the firms strategic accounts and act as the M&BD Lead for one of the cross-border groups that sit within Corporate & Commercial.

The Senior Business Development Manager will directly line manage and mentor two Business Development Managers and a Business Development Executive.

This role can be based in London, Bristol or Dublin and the firm operate a hybrid policy of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for strong return on investment thought leadership campaigns.
  • Assume a proactive and leading role in the development of high-value pitch responses.
  • Formulate and periodically reassess a forward-thinking strategic plan for the group.
  • Review and provide final M&BD approval for strategic directory submissions.

Experience required

  • Experience of working at a similar level M&BD role within professional services.
  • Extensive experience of running "must win" pitch processes.
  • Developed client development skills and knowledge.
  • Experience of managing, motivating and leading large teams.
