Senior Audit Manager or RI

I am currently working with an established independent accountancy firm in Central London that is looking for either an RI or a Senior Audit Manager with the view to progressing to an RI within the next 12 months.

You will be given a varied portfolio of audit, statutory accounts and management accounts clients. The firm are looking for someone who will be in the position to obtain RI status it in the near future.

They have an excellent track record of promoting staff to Partner within recent years and this role will give you the opportunity to work towards that.

Duties:

• Managing a portfolio of both audit and accounts clients.
• Assisting Partner's with managing and generating additional projects.
• Set fees and budgets, ensuring budgets are met
• Liaising with other departments
• Managing the service delivery to clients
• Being a key point of contact to clients throughout the year
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with both existing clients as well as prospective clients
• Providing business advice to clients
• Client billing and job recoverability
• Prepare fee quotes and liaise with clients to organise the provision of audit, accountancy, and tax services
• Review audit files, ensuring that they are completed to the correct standard and resolving technical issues prior to reporting to the partner
• Responsibility for managing WIP recoveries, billing clients and meet deadlines
• Assist colleagues within the wider firm with technical accounting and financial reporting matters
• Building relationships with target clients and get involved with pitches
• Identifies and follow up on new business opportunities
• Increase client portfolio year on year
• Participates in promotions and reviews

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Either have RI Status or be able to apply within 12 months
• Experience in both audits and accounts preparations ranging from small to large size clients
• Experience of managing a team
• Experience managing a portfolio
