Semi Senior accountant

We are working with a well-established accountancy firm in Uxbridge area who are currently seeking a Semi Senior accountant to join the growing company. They are looking for a long-term working relationship with this candidate. The need someone that will be able to prepare accounts from start to finish, focusing on accuracy and presentation of the accounts.

Your Role:

• Ability to prepare accounts under FRS 102 1A from:
• Incomplete records;
• Bookkeeping records prepared by themselves; and
• Client trial balances (including those where the client isn't proficient with the software)
• Preparation of corporation tax computations
• Preparing service charge accounts
• Regular management accounting
• Reconcile Balance Sheet control accounts including bank, VAT (including for cash basis clients) and PAYE
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns, helping clients with what can and can't be claimed
• Share knowledge and experience with more junior members of staff to assist with their development
• Experience and willingness to participate in audit assignments (max 10% of the role)

What you need:

• At least 5 years of general practice experience
• Professional qualifications are not required. Experience is key to this role.
• Preferably experience in these softwares:MyWorkpapers, Sage, Quickbooks and Xero predominantly.
