Revenue Controller

Ambition is representing a Magic Circle Law Firm who are currently looking for a driven Revenue Controller to join their Working Capital department. The Working Capital team is responsible for the WIP and billing for all practice areas. The Revenue Controller role is based in their stunning London office, where you will be working in a collaborative environment to deliver and maintain their reputation for excellence. As the Revenue Controller some of your responsibilities include:

• Support fee earning teams by talking over overall performance, monthly billing, review WIP and client account balances
• Keep lockup at acceptable levels across practice groups
• Suggest action plans to partners and fee earners for billing and collection of their client balances
• Provide billing support to partners, fee earners and their PA's
• Able to chase debts
• Use Debt Collections Systems
• Support international accounts team
• Assist the line managers with preparation of various financial reports and prepare debt reports

To be successful in this Revenue Controller position, some of the requirements include:

• Experience within a finance team at a law firm
• Knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules
• Exposure to Elite or Aderant
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Self-motivated and a team player
• Brilliant Communication skills and ability to build good relationships
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
