R&D Tax Senior Associate (Engineering) - Birmingham - up to £45,000

The role

This is a client facing role where the consultant will be working with customers from a wide range of industry sectors undertaking development activities within the field of Engineering. Your other responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Undertaking the technical assessment of claims and producing the technical summary (mostly for projects with challenges in the field of engineering or associated sub disciplines)
• Identification of qualifying R&D projects and expenditure through participation in technical discussions with clients
• Continuously developing own knowledge and skills and to keep technical knowledge up to date
• Representing the Firm at seminars and mechanical engineering related events

What you need?

You need to be a holder of a recognised university degree (MEng and/or PhD) within an engineering related discipline. In addition to this, you will also have at least a years' experience working within R&D Tax and be able to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the current R&D guidelines.
