R&D Tax Manager

R&D Tax Manager - London - up to £70,000

An exciting opportunity to work with this Big 4 Firms Innovation Incentives team. This team works primarily to secure incentives for companies who are actively undertaking or planning to undertake R&D. The service offer includes R&D tax credits, Patent Box, Government business and innovation grants, and innovation loans.

The teamwork with a mix of clients from FTSE 100 through to small and mid-size enterprises. The role offers you the chance to integrate with a small, dynamic team where you will be supported and encouraged to shape your own niche.

You will work closely with senior level staff of our clients, typically including the finance, commercial and technical teams. You will play an active role in understanding the future plans for innovation and R&D, and work with the client to help roadmap these plans against the future funding opportunities which are available.

A key part of your role will be assisting with the grant applications. This includes participating in structure workshops to obtain the required details and translating this into a project proposal tailored to the specific funding body.

As well as working directly on existing projects, you will also be offered the chance to support business development opportunities and become involved in other specialist areas within the Innovation Incentives team.
