Private Client Tax Senior

Ambition is delighted to be working with a leading UK business consultancy firm based in North-West London who are seeking a Tax Advisor (Private Client) to join their tax team.

The Firm

A professional services group that is multi-disciplined offering a full circle of advisory services to private clients and fast growing businesses. Their in-house team consists of expert consultants that have years of expertise in both practice and industry. Their focal point is to deliver efficient solutions to their clients through the course of their business in a seamless manner.

The Role

As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting tax returns for an incredible broad range of clients and review the tax returns of juniors. Assisting in private tax advice for clients in a report format and participate in client meetings. The role offers an opportunity for future development and includes full study support to gaining the professional qualification. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:




  • Utilising opportunities to work with new businesses and new clients.
  • Support the tax team with tax return reviews from their outsourcing company.
  • Manage client relationships and expectations which will be monitored through IRIS on a weekly basis to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Updating internal CRMs and client portals regarding new enquires.

The Candidate

As a Tax Advisor, candidates must be ATT qualified and have had previous experience within a practice environment. Candidates have strong technical tax knowledge and practical expertise within private client tax.

Requirements include:

  • Demonstrate an extensive experience of tax affairs of non-domiciled individuals, share schemes and entrepreneurs for small to medium sized enterprises.
  • Previous contact working with Inheritance tax and Capital Gains tax is beneficial.
  • Skilled in research and preparing complex written advice and calculations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
