Job Title: Private Client Senior
Location: London
Package: Up to £40,000 + benefits
My client, a well established a respected Accountancy firm ranked inside the Top 25, are looking for a Private Client Senior to join their Private Client Tax team in Central London. This role would suit either a part qualified or newly qualified Private Client Senior who is looking for a role with a high quality and complex private client portfolio, increased client exposure and the chance to work on advisory elements of private client tax work.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Preparing tax returns for review by the Manager
- Interfacing between clients and managers
- Assisting with general private client issues and suggesting tax planning opportunities for clients within their portfolio
- Communicating and corresponding with HMRC
- Communicating with and answering queries from clients
- Assisting with the training and supervision of more junior members of staff
- Other ad-hoc duties in line with the role
Requirements for this role include:
- Newly qualified or part qualified (ATT/CTA or equivalent) and at least 2 years of experience working in Private Client tax
- Good general knowledge of income tax, capital allowances, employment taxes, capital gains tax and benefits, and non-doms
- A basic knowledge of capital gains tax, treatment of foreign income, capital allowances, tax credits, and inheritance tax
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft software
- Good organisational skills
