Pricing Manager

A leading international law firm is seeking a Pricing Manager to join its high‑performing team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a function that sits at the heart of commercial strategy, partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business to drive value, efficiency, and high‑quality client service.

The Pricing team plays a central role in shaping commercial strategy, integrating pricing, legal project management, and financial insights to support partners and clients throughout the lifecycle of an engagement.

The Pricing Manager will support the delivery of value-driven commercial solutions across the European offices. This position is ideal for someone analytically strong, confident engaging with senior stakeholders, and motivated by partnering with lawyers to enhance client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, negotiate, and implement bespoke fee arrangements aligned to client objectives and firm financial strategy
  • Advise partners and lawyers on pricing strategy across multiple practices and sectors
  • Monitor matter performance, track budgets, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions
  • Produce high-quality written deliverables including client proposals, pricing summaries, and internal reports
  • Leverage technology, data analytics, and emerging AI tools to enhance forecasting, reporting, and matter management
  • Support strategic initiatives and department-wide projects through research and data analysis
  • Review engagement terms, fee arrangements and commercial provisions for compliance
  • Document best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of pricing and commercial processes

Experience needed:

  • Significant experience in pricing, commercial finance, matter management or a similar function within professional services (law firm experience preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills, including modelling and data visualisation
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills; able to influence and advise senior professionals
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently where required
