Pricing Analyst

I am working with a top international law firm who are looking for a Pricing Analyst to drive the pricing and profitability agenda across international markets. They are very open to considering individuals across all of their UK offices which include London, Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield. This is a client-facing and business-facing role, working closely with senior stakeholders to design innovative pricing strategies, optimise profitability, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities in this Pricing Analyst role -

  • Lead initiatives to align pricing strategies across markets, ensuring competitive positioning and profitability.
  • Collaborate with partners to design value-driven fee arrangements, leveraging data insights and challenging assumptions to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor and review profitability of agreed arrangements, assess scope changes, and recommend actions to improve matter management.
  • Ensure accurate reflection of rate arrangements in internal systems and maintain compliance with pricing policies.
  • Prepare tactical pricing proposals for RFPs, balancing client strategy, risk mitigation, and profitability.
  • Champion adoption of budgeting tools to enhance financial planning and client transparency.
  • Raise awareness of client profitability across the business and engage stakeholders to drive improvement.
  • Work closely with Finance Business Partners, Sector Leaders, and other client-facing teams to deliver strategic insights and training.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong background in commercial finance and Pricing within a professional services environment.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with SAP and Power BI desirable.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) is an advantage.
  • Ability to analyse and model financial data, producing clear, client-ready reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and proactive with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working within a partnership structure and across multiple geographies.
