Personal Tax Manager (Leatherhead)

A strong performing Practice based in Leatherhead are in need of 2 Private Tax Managers for their collaborative and warm cultured Private Client Tax department.

Responsibilities:

As a Private Tax Manager, you will be mainly responsible for:

• providing tax advisory and compliance services to a portfolio of quality and diverse HNWIs, both UK and non-UK domiciled
• reviewing tax returns prepared by consultants and provide technical input on these
• identifying opportunities for restructuring client's tax affairs and raise these with the client partner or the client
• providing specialist tax advisory service to clients including; estate planning, inheritance tax planning, wealth structuring, domicile issues.
• dealing with HMRC on tax investigations
• acting as point of contact for clients, alongside partner
• the development of the junior staff through work reviews and timely feedback

Requirements:

You will have a breadth of private tax experience and have excellent communication skills and sound technical knowledge. You will be acquired to working in an environment where high quality work is delivered in a timely manner.

You will ideally be ATT/CTA/ACA qualified and have dealt with complex UK and non-domiciled clients. You will have good time management skills and manage an efficient workflow. Excellent IT skills and being receptive to technology changes is also beneficial.
