Personal Tax Assistant Manager

A dynamic and forward-thinking professional services firm is seeking an experienced and ambitious individual to join their Private Client Tax team as an Assistant Manager. This role is ideal for someone currently operating at Assistant Manager level or a high-performing Senior looking to take the next step in their career.

You will work closely with a diverse portfolio of entrepreneurial clients and their families, providing strategic tax and commercial advice tailored to their personal and business needs. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial success and legacy planning of high-net-worth individuals in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of private clients, acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day queries and strategic discussions.
• Deliver high-quality tax compliance and advisory services, including inheritance tax planning, trust structuring, and succession strategies.
• Collaborate with Partners and senior stakeholders to develop bespoke solutions that align with clients' long-term financial goals.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, contributing to their professional development and the overall success of the team.
• Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and client service, ensuring a premium experience at every touchpoint.
• Support the continuous improvement of internal processes and contribute to business development initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

• ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified (or equivalent), or qualified by experience.
• Proven experience working with high-net-worth individuals and complex personal tax matters.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Commercially astute with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver value-added advice.
• Organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A collaborative team player with a proactive and forward-thinking mindset.
