In the Payroll Assistant role you'll report to the Payroll Manager and will be primarily responsible for assisting the Payroll Manager with the preparation of the UK monthly payroll and assisting with partner statement production and delivering to partners.
Specific tasks include:
- * administering finance and accounting (f&a) payroll inbox on a daily basis
- * assisting with new projects e.g. Setting up new folders for partners
- * working with the outsourced payroll provider
To be considered for the Payroll Assistant role you will need to possess direct experience of posting journals to elite (training to be provided).
We also need you to have prior experience of assisting the Payroll Manager with the preparation of the UK monthly payroll.
It's also essential that you've got experience of assisting with partner statement production and delivering to partners.
Additionally, it's crucial that you possess the following:
- * experienced with elite or any other accounting system with posting journals and reports
- * some understanding of UK PAYE & HMRC legislation
- * law firm background

The basic salary for the Payroll Assistant role is between £25,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience. You can also earn overtime in this role.
There's also an opportunity for you to earn a personal performance bonus and company performance bonus. Full details about the scheme will be revealed on application.
