Operational Restructuring Manager - London

We are working with one of the world's largest accountancy practices on a fantastic opportunity within their Operational Restructuring team. The firms is looking to grow it's already established and market leading team by hiring a new manager in their London team.

This role would see you joining a team focused entirely on turnaround and business transformation projects. You will be working with distressed business and working on novel and complex methods to improve your clients aiming for a full business turnaround. Projects include cost reduction, cash management and working capital management.

This would suit someone with prior operational restructuring experience or someone that is currently financial restructuring role that is looking to take on a more hands on position that is stepping away from more typical formal insolvency.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of complex information to formulate structured, pragmatic and innovative client recommendations
• Conducting cashflow sensitivity analysis, financial baselining and forecast reviews
• Undertaking market and client analysis to understand the clients' commercial challenge and translating this into operational actions such as cost reduction, working capital improvements
• Developing, managing and sustaining strong client relationships.
• Taking responsibility for leading junior members of the team where required including coaching and upskilling of junior team members

Requirements

• You should have some prior experience working on operational restructuring or business transformation projects
• Ideal candidates with have skills in both financial and operational quantitative analytics.
• Candidates should have experience of working on complex operational change as well as experience of managing stakeholders
• Strong communications skills are a must, with a particular requirement for someone with strong skillsets around the development of power point presentations to synthesise analysis and communicate key conclusions.
